We believe middle school is more than a bridge between elementary and high school. Our program is intentionally designed to help make the most of each child’s developmental stage. As our students are transitioning out of elementary school, they still have a homeroom teacher, but rotate between three other core subjects, as well as have enrichment electives such as art, music, communications, P.E., Spanish, and Bible. They also use lockers and begin to manage their own time and school supplies. They are issued a school laptop and are responsible for checking their email, tracking their grades online, and have many opportunities to use technology as a tool for learning throughout the day. In addition, they have opportunities to participate in several different athletic sports.
